MANTO User Survey
We want to make MANTO more helpful and user-friendly. And we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you’re a long-time user of MANTO or you’ve just discovered it, we’re interested in how you use it, what you use it for, and how you think it could be improved or expanded. We’re particularly interested in ideas about how MANTO could be developed as a resource for teaching and learning.
You can access our survey here.
You can access the participant information sheet and consent form here.
Your feedback will be anonymous. All questions in the survey are optional.
It will take 5-15 minutes depending on the length of your answers. The main part of the survey consists of six free-text responses. You will be asked to describe how and why you use MANTO (or might use it in the future), and any problems you have encountered. You will also have the chance to suggest future improvements, including the creation of supplementary materials, expansions to the dataset and functionality, new topics for the Greek Myth Files, and new texts for Canopos.
The survey will remain open until 30th November, 2026.

Below are two short videos. The first is an introduction to MANTO as a project. The second gives you some tips on how to use MANTO’s public interface.
This survey is part of a set of initiatives to develop MANTO as a tool for teaching, research, and public engagement that have been generously funded throughout 2026 by Dr Janet Gale and the Gale Fund at Macquarie University.
